Colleges open in Tamil Nadu tomorrow after 8 months

Colleges in Tamil Nadu that were closed as a precaution against corona Virus will reopen tomorrow after 8 months.

Although the colleges have been closed since March, enrollment for the current academic year has been completed online and classes have been conducted online.

Then on November 12 the government allowed the colleges to reopen, but the decision was dropped considering the corona environment.

In this situation, the government has allowed research and postgraduate students to conduct direct classes only from tomorrow, considering their employment and higher education.

The Department of Higher Education has advised to follow safety features including personal distance/space and face shield/Mask etc. 

The first live class will be held on the 7th for undergraduate final year students.
