First go to Settings>More>Mobile networks>Access Point Names>Menu>

Hit on Menu and Select Add New APN, type in the Vodafone APN Settings provided below, exactly as they appear

Password: Not Required

Server: Not Required

APN roaming Protocol: IPv4/IPv6

Authentication type: Not Required

Save the settings, Exit back to main menu

Restart the phone and Test the connection
