Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated a conference on higher education reform in the new national education policy.
Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address a conference organized jointly by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development and the University Grants Commission.
During the conference, various important aspects such as future-oriented education, quality research, and the inclusion of technology in education to achieve a better place in education are to be discussed. Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokriyal and Internet Minister Sanjay Todre are expected to attend the event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the new education policy will encourage young students to be educated in their mother tongue and lead to world-class improvement in the ability of students.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a video conference on reforms in higher education under the National Education Policy.
At the time, he noted that he had approved the National Education Policy after extensive discussions and consideration of millions of comments over 4 years. He said some had questioned how the major reforms mentioned in the paper could be implemented.
He noted that the role of those directly involved in the implementation of the national education policy is paramount. He said he was committed to implementing this fully.
He noted that good discussions on education policy would bring further benefits to the education system. He said there was no doubt that the national education policy was biased or partisan.
Modi also said that the new education policy aims to encourage young students to be educated in their mother tongue and to upgrade their ability to world class.
Gold price approaching Rs 43,000
Gold prices rose by another 400 rupees per razor today, to close at 43,000 rupees per razor. As investment in gold continues to rise, its price is rising at rocket speeds.
In the current year alone it has risen by more than 30 per cent. In Chennai, a gram of jewelery rose by Rs 50 to Rs 5,374 today. Similarly, a razor is sold for 42 thousand 992 rupees, an increase of 400 rupees. Bar silver is selling at Rs 81,600 a kg, up by Rs 2,400.
