Central Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javdekar has issued guidelines for the shooting of films and TV series.
The federal government has issued guidelines for the filming of films and television series.
The shooting locations, the filming hall, and the editing rooms should maintain a six-foot spacing from each other. Social deviation must be observed at all stages of filming. A small number of actors and technical artists should participate.
Spectators should not be allowed in the shooting halls. Coordinate with the local administration to avoid crowds during outdoor filming. Different production companies have to allocate different times in the shooting arenas. Stadiums, cosmetic rooms, vehicles, toilets should be cleaned frequently with disinfectant. Adequate supply of gloves, socks, face mask, and full body armor.
Actors and technicians other than those in front of the camera must wear a mask. Minimize sharing of clothes and cosmetics.
Makeup artists and hairstylists should use full body armor. Many use gloves when handling the same equipment. Avoid fitting a mic on the shirt, and do not use the mic used by one person on another.
Avoid touching the front of the mic directly. Use a small amount of theatrical materials for shooting and spray with disinfectant before use.
Those at risk of contracting the disease should act with extreme caution. The temperature at the entrance should be checked and only those without corona symptoms should be allowed inside.
Workplaces and public utilities should be disinfected frequently. If anyone on the premises is known to have corona they should be sprayed and disinfected throughout. Anyone with poor health should be notified immediately. If someone has corona symptoms, they should be temporarily isolated.
