Education: Only one nation.! The only choice.! Is it dangerous for TNPSC?

On the one hand, there is opposition to the new federal government's new plan, "One Nation - One Choice", which has been announced with foresight. Is this scheme favorable to Tamil Nadu selectors? Or disadvantage? This special news package discusses: -

Following a number of schemes including One Nation - One Ration, One Nation - One Identity Card, a new One Nation - One Examination Scheme has been introduced. Accordingly, the National Entrance Examination Agency (NRA), also known as the N.R.A., conducts general entrance examinations for Central Government employees - the Common Eligibility Test.

Educators have welcomed the new practice, saying it will increase the chances of rural students being forced into federal government jobs as the exam will be conducted in 12 state languages, including Tamil. At the same time, competitive exam coaches say that this exam will not affect the exams conducted by state governments like TNPSC, TRB, TNUSRB.

Only the first level selection will be conducted by a new body called NRA. Another section is concerned that the level selectors will have to study separate syllabi and additional subjects as the secondary examination will be conducted by the concerned department.

Private trainers have expressed fears that questions will not be asked in state languages, including Tamil, as the department concerned will conduct the secondary examination, again pointing out that the level at which the candidates will be affected will continue.

Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections, but fear that the by-elections will be held in Tamil Nadu.

Therefore, the expectation of the selectors is that the Central Government should ensure that equal opportunities are provided to all parties.
