It is said that the IPL final will be shifted from November 8 to November 10. The final decision will be taken at the IPL Executive Committee meeting in the next three days.

The Indian team was scheduled to return to India after the IPL. With the final postponed for 2 days, the Indian team is set to fly directly to Australia from the United Arab Emirates.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has not decided on a T20 World Cup date.

The Indian Cricket Board (ICB) has been given the opportunity to host the IPL after the  International Cricket Council (ICC) recently announced the postponement of the T20 WorlCup in Australia from October 18 to November 15.

In an interview to a news agency, IPL President Brijesh Patel said that the match will start

on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates and the final will be played on November 8.
