Plus 1 admission in government schools has started
Class 11 student admission has started in government and government aided schools. Already, enrollment for classes 1 to 10 in government and government-aided schools has been taking place since the 17th.
Admission to Class XII has started today with the completion of the distribution of Grade Certificates for Class XII. Priority is given to students who have completed 10th class in the school.
Student admission is taking place following the face shield and individual human space. Schools have explained that admission is based on reservation and does not deny admission to anyone on the basis of marks.
School education sources said they expect an additional 1 lakh students to join Class 11 this year as everyone has passed Class 10.
Will e-pass procedure be canceled in Tamil Nadu?
Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy is consulting today on whether to continue or cancel the IPAs permit.
The e-pass system came into effect by restricting inter-district and inter-state travel to prevent the spread of corona infection. Recently, the Chief Minister relaxed the restrictions and ordered the issuance of IBAS to all applicants.
Opposition leaders, including MK Stalin, have demanded the complete abolition of the IPAs. The letter, written by the federal government to all state chief secretaries, advised that travel between districts and between states should not be banned.
In this context, Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy is said to be reviewing the e-pass system today.
The Puducherry government has canceled the e-pass system in Puducherry
The state government has announced that the first e-pass system has been canceled in Pondicherry from today.
The federal government has asked state governments to ensure that there are no restrictions on the movement of personal and freight traffic within and between states.
It was reported that it would be in violation of Home Ministry guidelines if restrictions like Ipas were observed in violation of this. Based on this, the Puducherry government has announced that e-pass is not required to travel from Puducherry to other states and to Puducherry from other states.
It has been reported that the first e-pass system has been canceled in Puducherry from today as per the order of the Central Government.
