In the IPL cricket match against Rajasthan, Bangalore won by 7 wickets due to De Villiers' action.

Rajasthan captain Smith won the toss and elected to bat. Accordingly, Uthappa gave an impressive start to the fielding Rajasthan team. He scored 41 off just 22 balls.
