IPL Delhi beat Kolkata by 18 runs in IPL match yesterday.

Kolkata captain Dinesh Karthik choose to bowl after winning the toss in the 16th league match in Sharjah.

Following this, the Delhi team scored 228 runs for 4 wickets at the end of 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer scored 88 runs.

The wickets fell at regular intervals for Kolkata, who were heading towards the huge target of 229 for victory.

Kolkata needed 26 runs to win the last over and were able to score only 8 runs.

 Now, DC is top of the points table.

Bangalore won the match against Rajasthan

Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets.

The match between the two teams was played in Abu Dhabi. Batting first, Rajasthan Royals scored 154 for the loss of 6 wickets. Bangalore then batted with a target of 155 to win.

Aaron Pinch was out for 8 runs. Virat Kohli joined the pair with the next step. Stairs hit a fifty off the 37th ball. At the other end Virat Kohli hit a fifty off 41 balls. 

Padikkal was dismissed for 63. Next de Villiers landed on the field. 

Virat Kohli smashed three fours in the 18th over and scored 158 in 19.1 overs as Bangalore won by 8 wickets.
