Mercedes-Benz introduces electric car in India

Renowned multinational car maker Mercedes has officially launched its electric car EQC in India.
The first 50 cars will be available in Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad for the first phase with a showroom price of Rs 99.30 lakh.
The first electric SUV to be sold in India, it will go up to 350 km on a single charge and the batteries come with an 8-year warranty, Mercedes said in a statement.
EQC has a top speed of 180 kmph and a top speed of 100 kmph in 5.1 seconds.
The car battery can be charged in 10 hours with a normal charger and 90 minutes with a DC Fast Charger.
