Extension of lockdown with relaxations in Tamil Nadu

Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has announced that the curfew will be extended across Tamil Nadu on November 30 with new relaxations. He has ordered the operation of schools, colleges, and theaters, including political public meetings, with restrictions.

According to the report, schools from Class 9 to Class 12 have been given permission to operate from the 16th onwards in areas other than the disease control areas. In addition, all types of colleges, research institutes and educational institutions will be allowed to operate following the standard guidelines from the 16th of this month.


All hostels, including schools, colleges and staff hostels, have been given permission to operate from the 16th.


Permission has been granted for the wholesale trade of fruit at the Coimbatore store premises from the 2nd of this month.


It has been announced that the vegetable and fruit retail outlets will be operational in 3 phases at the Coimbatore store premises from the 16th of this month.


Chennai Suburban Electric Rail Transport Service for the public has been given permission to operate following standard guidelines.
