Astronomers predict that the current Christmas star will be visible 800 years later.
On the 21st, just after sunset, the two largest planets in the solar system, Jupiter and Saturn, will appear side by side. The light that occurs when they both glow is called the Christmas star.
Researchers at the University of Houston say the two planets have been close for 226 years, and that they could now see them 800 years later.
