About 8 months after the corona lockdown in Tamil Nadu, colleges and hostels are reopening today with various relaxations.
Following the Corona lockdown, student admissions for the current academic year are being conducted online and lessons are being conducted online.
Considering the employment of postgraduate final year students studying research and technology, the colleges reopened on the 2nd of last month after only 8 months for postgraduate second year students. Colleges and hostels for final year undergraduate, postgraduate and research students with standard guidelines will be reopened from today, as per the government order following.
Emphasis is placed on wearing masks everywhere on the college campus and in the classroom, adhering to personal spaces. The temperature measuring instrument at the entry points is said to test the students.
The Department of Higher Education has ruled that students must not be allowed into college if their parents have a corona, and that if students want to take lessons online rather than a direct class, they must be given the help they need.
It has been reported that only one student should be allowed to stay in a room in the hostel and that colleges operate six days a week.
