Test cricket will be played at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai after 4 years.
The England team, which will tour India from February 5, will play 4 Tests, 5 Twenty20s and 3 ODIs.
The match schedule has been jointly announced by the cricket boards of both the teams. Accordingly, it has been announced that the first Test will start on February 5 and the second Test will start on February 13 in Chennai.
After the Test match in Chennai in December 2016, Test cricket will be played again after 4 years.
The remaining two Tests will be played in Ahmedabad throughout the Twenty20 series with 5 matches.
