Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has ordered to provide 2GB of free data daily for 4 months to facilitate college students to attend online classes.
9,69,047 students enrolled in government and government-aided arts and science colleges, polytechnic colleges, engineering colleges and scholarship-funded self-funded colleges are being offered 2GB of free data daily for 4 months until April.
The Chief Minister has said that through Elcote, he has ordered the provision of free data cards to get 2GB of data per day.
The Chief Minister has asked the students to make good use of the free data cards provided for online classes.
