Can schools be opened .... what do parents say?

After the Pongal festival, parents are being asked to comment on the opening of schools for 10th and 12th class students

A meeting of parents across Tamil Nadu to seek their views on the opening of schools for 10th and 12th class students began on Wednesday. The hearing will be held till the 8th. In this situation, most parents have expressed support for opening schools.

There is nothing wrong with reopening schools with theaters, shopping malls and beaches all open, some parents say.

A few parents have suggested that studying online alone is not enough for students who want to face the general exam, and that they will only get good marks if they go to school. They also demanded that a special class be held if the schools could not be opened.

Meanwhile, in an environment where the corona has transformed, some parents have protested that opening schools is the wrong decision. They said they did not want to send their children to school under extraordinary circumstances and demanded that the government consider holding the general examination online.

Ashok Nagar High School headmaster says teachers are ready to conduct lessons whenever schools are open and plan to keep students seated at individual intervals and follow corona prevention measures.

Following parental feedback, the announcement of the reopening of schools is expected to be made soon.
