Chris Morris bids Rs 16.25 crore: Rajasthan Royals| IPL Auction 2021 Updates: Full list of players sold, unsold

In the IPL player auction held in Chennai, the South African player Chris Morris was auctioned by the Rajasthan team for a maximum of 16 crore 25 lakh rupees.

The mini auction to select the players for the 14th IPL Cricket Tournament was held at the Star Hotel in Chennai. More than 1000 players had registered their names for the auction. 

The BCCI finally selected 292 players for the auction, including 125 foreign players. Eight teams participated in the auction to fill a total of 61 vacancies.

Chennai plan to take on Moin Ali as there are few spin bowlers in the squad. The Punjab team also tried to bid for him. In the end, the Chennai team settled Moin Ali for 7 crore rupees.

Mumbai, Bangalore and Rajasthan battled it out to bid for South Africa's 33 - year - old fast bowler Chris Morris. 

The Rajasthan Royals eventually bought Chris Morris for Rs 16 crore 25 lakh.

There was a fierce competition between Chennai and Bangalore teams to bid for Glenn Maxwell. In the end, the Bangalore team bid for 14 crore 25 lakh rupees. 

The Delhi team auctioned Smith for Rs 2 crore 20 lakh .

The Punjab team for David Malone for Rs 1.5 crore.

Jay Richardson was auctioned for Rs 14 crore by the Punjab team and Adam Milne by the Mumbai team for Rs 3 crore 20 lakh. 

Kolkata Knight Riders have acquired Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for Rs 3 crore 20 lakh.

Not bid Players

Jason Roy, Karuna Nair, Alex Gells, West Indies' Evin Lewis, Australia's Aaron Pinch and India's Hanuman Vihari have not been bid.

Punjab Kings bid Rs 8 crore for Australian Riley Meridi

Chennai Super Kings have bid Rs 9.25 crore for Karnataka player Krishnappa Gautam.

Punjab team has bid for Tamil Nadu player Shah Rukh Khan for Rs 5.25 crore.

Mumbai Indians bid for Pius Chawla for Rs 2.4 crore

Mumbai Indians have bought Australian Nendon Gulder Neil for Rs 5 crore.

Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav has been auctioned by the Delhi team for Rs 1 crore.

Mumbai Indians have bid Rs 3.2 crore for New Zealand's Adam Milne.

The Punjab team has auctioned David Malone for Rs 1.5 crore.
