New Restrictions announced in Tamil Nadu from tomorrow
The spread of coronavirus in Tamil Nadu is increasing day by day. Various measures are being taken to control the spread of corona. As a result, existing regulations are being intensified.
New restrictions:
• At present only stalls selling groceries, vegetables, meat and fish are allowed to operate without refrigeration till 12.00 noon, at present all these shops are allowed to operate only from 06.00 am to 10.00 am.
Of these, only 50 per cent of customers should be admitted at a time. Distribution of groceries, vegetables, meat and fish by e-commerce companies will be allowed only from 06.00 am to 10.00 am.
Except for the above-mentioned grocery, vegetable, meat and fish shops, all other shops are prohibited from opening.
• ATMs, petrol and diesel stocks will function as usual.
• Pharmacies will be allowed to open as usual.
The general public is advised to buy the groceries and vegetables they need at the shops near their homes and to avoid travelling long distances to buy the above items. Those who seek to do so will be prevented.
Tea shops are not allowed to operate at present as they are allowed to operate only till 12 noon.
Pedestrian stalls selling vegetables, flowers and fruits are allowed to operate till 12 noon, while at present, sidewalk stalls selling vegetables, flowers and fruits are not allowed to operate.
• E-commerce companies will be allowed to operate from 02.00 pm to 06.00 pm.
