The Department of Higher Education of the Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered those semester examinations in all colleges will now be conducted directly in classes.
The announcement comes as students have been demanding that exams be conducted online as classes are conducted online.
It has been reported that the decision has been made to conduct the exams directly in the classes as the corona vulnerability has decreased.

It is also reported that the examinations will be conducted following the corona prevention guidelines.
The government has said that this will apply to all examinations held in polytechnics, colleges of arts and sciences, engineering colleges, colleges of education and university departments.
