Three major telecom companies in the country have launched prepaid plans for their customers. Airtel and Vodafone-Idea's new plans went into effect last week. Jio announced the price hike yesterday. Jio's new projects will be operational from December 1st. Let’s look at the best plans for customers that offer maximum data at the best price.

Jio new prepaid plans for under Rs 400

Even before the price hike of Jio bundled prepaid plans, there was a lower starting price compared to Vodafone-Idea and Airtel. Also, it continues even though the plans are a bit different. These schemes will come into effect from December 1. So there is still time to recharge old plans.

The Rs 129 plan comes with a total of 2GB of data, unlimited calling and 300 SMS now priced at Rs 155. This plan is valid for 28 days. 

Rs 149 is now Rs 179. But, it has better data benefits compared to Airtel and Vi. It has 1GB of data per day, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. However, its validity period is limited to 24 days.

Jio Rs 199 plan comes with a daily data limit of 1.5 GB and unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day at Rs 239

The Rs 249 plan costs Rs 299 with 2GB of data per day, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day


These plans are relatively inexpensive compared to Airtel and Vi.


Jio next plan, which was originally priced at Rs 399, is now priced at Rs. Would be 479. The plan comes with 56 days validity and unlimited calls, up to 100 SMS per day.

Airtel has announced an increase of about 20-25% in its prepaid plans. It came into force on November 26th. Airtel's Rs. 149 plan, Unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day and total 2GB data is now available for Rs. 179.


The next plan, which costs Rs 219 with 1GB of daily data, will cost Rs 265 for an unlimited call with 28 days validity and 100 SMS per day.

Another popular Rs 249 plan is now priced at Rs 299. The plan comes with 1.5GB of data per day and unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. 

Finally, the Rs 298 plan, which comes with 2GB of daily data, comes with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day at a cost of Rs 359. All these plans are valid for 28 days.

After that, all the new plans will now cost over Rs 400 as per Airtel's new price range.


Vodafone - Idea prepaid plans below Rs.400

Vodafone-Idea, like Airtel, has raised prices for prepaid plans. The Rs 149 plan now starts at Rs 179 with a total of 2GB of data. However, it only has 300 SMS per day. Calling Unlimited is part of this plan.

Vodafone's Rs 219 is now Rs 269. This is slightly higher than Airtel. The plan includes 1GB of data per day, 100 SMS per day and unlimited calls.

Vodafone's Rs 249 plan with 1.5 GB of data per day is now available for Rs 299. This is similar to Airtel. Finally, the Rs 299 project will cost Rs 359. And continues with 2GB per day. Both the plans offer unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day.

Like Airtel, Vodafone-Idea has raised the price of long-term plans to Rs 400.


Conclusion

Airtel, VI and Jio have raised long-valid prepaid plans. It should be noted that these are now very expensive. Plans with 84 days validity and more than 1.5GB of daily data now cost an average of over Rs.600.
