Highlights

• The Tamil Nadu Teachers' Recruitment Board (TRB) has released its annual plan to fill 9,494 vacancies. 
• It has been informed that the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be held in the second week of April.

In this context, the Teacher Selection Board plans to fill 9,494 vacancies in government schools and colleges by 2022 by conducting 6 examinations. 

The Teacher Recruitment Board has released the Annual Plan for the year 2022 today (23.01.2022)

• According to the annual plan, the postgraduate teacher selection to fill 2,407 vacancies will be held in the second or third week of February. 
• It is noteworthy that the announcement has already been made.
• The much-awaited Teacher Qualification Test (TET) in Tamil Nadu is scheduled to be held in the second week of April.

Selection for Intermediate Teachers and Graduate Teachers will take place in the second week of June. 

A total of 4,989 vacancies, including 3,902 intermediate teachers and 1,087 graduate teachers, are to be filled through this examination.

Selection to fill 167 lecturer vacancies in SCERT will take place in the second week of June.

Certification verification for the appointment of 1,334 assistant professors in government arts and science colleges will take place in the first week of August.

Selection to fill 493 vacant lecturer posts in Government Polytechnic Colleges will be held in the second week of November 2022.

Selection to fill the 104 vacant Assistant Professor posts in Government Engineering Colleges will take place in the second week of December.
