Employees and officers required for various departments of the Government of Tamil Nadu are being selected through the Tamil Nadu Civil Service Selection Board.
Through this, the Tamil Nadu Civil Servants Selection Board conducts competitive examinations and interview examinations.

The Tamil Nadu Civil Service Selection Board has repeatedly advised that all those who have a one-time registration account to write the Tamil Nadu Civil Servants' Examinations should attach their reference number by the 28th.
In a statement, Controller of Examinations Kiran Kurala said, "The Tamil Nadu Civil Service Selection Board has introduced the necessary changes over time and is implementing them.
In addition, in order to increase transparency and credibility in the selection process, it is introducing periodic reforms to expedite the completion of competitive examinations.
As a continuation of this, at present, all the candidates who have a permanent registration account on the Tamil Nadu Civil Service Selection Board must link their Aadhaar details by 28.02.2022 and submit their one-time permanent registration on the basis of notices issued by the Board in the future. They are advised to submit applications by account.
