Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak situation

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus. The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell. HOW IT SPREADS Coronavirus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth
Covid-19 infection  is an infection of the coronavirus disease (COV-19) caused by the bacterium Coronavirus 2 (SARS‑ CoV‑ 2).  It is also known as coronavirus infection.

The disease was first identified in Wuhan, China in December 2019.  On January 30, the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a global public health emergency and on March 11 a major epidemic.  As of 3 August 2020, 1,80,79,136  people had been affected in 188 countries, of which 6,89,370  had died. Of these, 1,06,90,359  have recovered. The virus is often spread through small droplets formed by coughing,  sneezing, and talking during close contact with people.  These droplets usually fall to the ground or surface rather than travel long distances through the air.  Sometimes, people can also become infected by touching an infected surface and then touching their face. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during the first three days after the onset of symptoms, although they may be present before the onset of symptoms and in people who do not show symptoms.    Pneumonia and severe shortness of breath occur as the disease progresses.  The duration of symptoms is from five days; Sometimes as long as two to fourteen days. There is no known vaccine or specific antiviral treatment for this infection.  The primary therapies are symptom reduction therapy and supportive care.  Recommended preventive measures include hand washing, keeping one's mouth shut when ironing, maintaining distance from others, wearing a mask in public, monitoring and self-isolation of people they suspect may be infected. As a result, heads of state around the world have imposed travel restrictions, curfews, workplace restrictions and closures on their countries. Many have worked to increase test capability and detect contacts of affected individuals. The epidemic has caused global social and economic disruption.  This has led to the largest global recession since the Great Recession.  This led to the postponement or cancellation of sporting, religious, political and cultural events. Fear caused supply shortages as more people bought products, including masks and disinfectants. Exposure to corrosive pollutants and greenhouse gases is low. Schools, universities and colleges in 177 countries are closed nationwide or on a local basis. It affects about 98.6 percent of the world's student population. Misinformation about the virus has been spread through social media and public media. Incidents of racism and discrimination have taken place against the Chinese people and against those who are considered to be from the Chinese or areas with high infection rates.
