Postponement of school holidays and examinations till January 31 for 10th, 11th and 12th class students

Holiday notice for 10th, 11th and 12th class students in Tamil Nadu till 31st January. 

Exams scheduled for Classes 10 and 12 starting on the 19th have also been postponed.

School Holidays till January 31 due to the spread of corona

The Tamil Nadu government has announced that 10th, 11th and 12th class students in Tamil Nadu will be given school holidays till January 31 due to the spread of corona. 

The diversion exam for 10th and 12th-grade students has also been cancelled.

Due to the spread of corona in Tamil Nadu, students from 1st to 9th class have been given leave till January 31. Direct classes were held for 10th, 11th and 12th grade students. A petition has been filed in the Chennai High Court seeking leave for 10th, 11th and 12th class students as the corona spread is high.

The court, which heard the case, advised the Tamil Nadu government to refrain from conducting live classes for 10th, 11th and 12th class students and to conduct classes online as the third wave was on the rise. In this case, the students of 10th, 11th and 12th classes have been given leave.

According to a press release issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, classes 1 to 9 have been closed due to the Corona epidemic and only classes 10 to 12 are currently operational. 

In this situation, due to the increasing spread of corona pandamic, all classes including 10th, 11th and 12th are given leave till the 31st in the interest of the students.

Due to this, the examinations scheduled to be held for 10th and 12th classes starting from the 19th have been postponed.
